Guava Cheesecake

Ingredients for 8-10 servings

  • 1 ½ cups of La Finca Harvest guava puree
  • 1 ½ cups of crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 2 cups of sour cream
  • 1 cup of heavy cream (or whipping cream)
  • One teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar (if needed)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  2. In another mixing bowl, beat the sour cream, heavy cream (or whipping cream), 1 cup of guava puree, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth and well combined
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan and smooth the top
  4. Make sure to refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until it's firm
  5. Just before serving, decorate the cheesecake with guava puree
